President

I joined The Morning Mission to help bridge the gap between seniors and youth through connective events. With my grandfather battling Alzheimer’s disease, I understand firsthand the vitality of social connection for seniors’ cognitive well-being. The Morning Mission’s work to foster these relationships resonates deeply with me, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful cause.

I joined the Morning Mission because my goals and values align with the non-profit, which is aiming to build meaningful connections between youth and seniors, following the post-pandemic senior isolation. As vice president, I enjoy organizing events and inspiring others to be involved with achieving our mission. My role as a previous marketing member has allowed me to utilize my creativity to bridge generational gaps effectively.

Growing up with my grandparents, who were such a big part of my early life, gave me a deep appreciation for older generations and the wisdom they share. This personal connection is a big reason why The Morning Mission’s goal of bringing youth and seniors together means so much to me. Last year, as a Human Resources executive member (2023-2024), I saw how these connections could create empathy and make a real difference in people’s lives. Now, as Vice President, I’ve grown even more attached to the club because of everything I’ve learned and experienced. It’s made me even more excited to help strengthen these relationships and contribute to the growth and success of The Morning Mission. :)

Marketing Director

I joined The Morning Mission because I found that the organization possessed the same beliefs, that it is important to create intergenerational with those younger and older than us. I already work with younger kids quite a bit, so I saw this as a perfect opportunity to connect with the older generation and The Morning Mission does such a great, creative job to make that happen. I really enjoy being an executive because I get to apply my talents in arts and design to The Morning Missions’ content, sharing meaningful, informative and visually appealing media to promote a very important cause.

My grandma was always one of my favourite people in the world, and some of the things she's taught me are key to me even now, so I want to help preserve those key moments between generations! -- Something I like about being an executive is having the privilege to work with my peers to bridge generations together.
